I’m not that old. Yes, 40 is just around the corner but I’m ready for it. I don’t really think of myself as old, in my head I’m still in my twenties and I guess as long as I stay there, everything will be fine. Well, having just shot the wedding of a boy young man I used to babysit, I’m feeling pretty old right now. I don’t want to be one of those people that used to pinch your cheeks and say “I remember when…”, but that’s how I’m feeling. That said, I am so honoured they asked me to shoot their big day and so was happy to travel back to Ontario to be a part of everything. These two are pretty special to me.

And yes it rained. No, not just for an hour or two but from the time the girls arrived at the church, well into the night. But it all worked out. With a few umbrellas and a couple of shots of tequilla thrown into the mix, it all unfolded beautifully.

(And thank you to Diana Nazareth who spent the day shooting with me once again)

  1. She is so stunning. I love all the church images – shots we tend to shy away from as photographers. Nice to see. Well done!
